Doctor

  • Dr. Russ Mitchell , DVM


    Dr. Mitchell received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Harding University in 1996 and his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Missouri in 2000. He began working at Crossroads as an associate in May of 2000 and became the owner in 2003. He lives in Aubrey with his wife Allyson, his daughters Audrey and Avary, as well as three cats and two dogs.

Technician

  • Miss Janice Boone , CVA


    Janice came to Crossroads from Bakersfield, California in March 2002. She worked with us as a receptionist until September 2003, when she began her technical training. Janice passed her exam to become a Certified Veterinary Assistant in August 2005. She has one dog, Tinsel; and two cats, P. Diddy and Face.

  • Mr. Rob Kempf


    Rob Kempf began working in the kennel at  Crossroads as a high school student in July 2005. After graduating in 2006, Rob began  training full time as a technician.  This year he received his certificate as a  Certified Veterinary Assistant. Rob has a great love for animals and would love to care for yours.

  • Mrs. Ronda White


    Ronda joined our staff in 2008. She previously worked as a technician for three years in Flower Mound. She is a native of South Dakota. She has a husband, Vince, and one son. Ronda has been in veterinary services since 2001 and hopes to continue caring for your pets for years to come.

Reception

  • Miss Emily Fisher


    Emily was raised in Massachusetts and also lived in California before moving to Dallas in 2005 to be close to her family. She was a supervisor at Kohl's for 2 years before joining our staff in 2008. She has one cat named Buttons.

  • Stephanie Rasnick


    Stephanie joined our team in the summer of 2008 after completing high school at R.L. Turner. She is currently enrolled as a college freshman with an undecided major.


Kennel

  • Mrs. Martha Cantrell


    Martha is Crossroads' longest running employee, having been with us for more than sixteen years. She supervises our kennel and has a wonderful way with animals. She has one dog and three cats of her own and also fosters for Golden Retriever Rescue. In addition, she has won numerous awards in the show ring with her llamas

  • Miss Stephanie McCreary


    Stephanie  recently moved to Carrollton from Florida. She is a junior at Newman Smith High School.  Stephanie previously worked at a kennel in Florida where she cared for at up to 50 animals at a time. In her spare time, Steph enjoys riding her paint horse, Zule.

Grooming

  • Valerie Lemus


     Valerie has just completed her second year with us, and has been a full-time groomer in the Carrollton area for the past 5 years. She is knowledgeable and highly skilled in all dog breeds, big and small. She can groom your dog to AKC standards or to your personal preference. Additionally, Valerie is proficient in grooming cats. She offers her grooming services Tuesday thru Saturday. Please call today to schedule an appointment!
